Liling is a patent engineer, involved in drafting of patents involving engineering, particularly in the field of mechanical engineering.
Experience
Liling joined ATMD as a Patent Engineer in May 2005. She is involved in the drafting of patents involving engineering, particularly in the field of mechanical engineering.
The areas of mechanical engineering she specializes in are in the technical fields of product design, engineering materials and advanced electronic packaging. Previously, she was involved in mechanical design and development of automotive products including safety integrated systems and telematics radios having wireless connections to data services, such as global positional systems (GPS), digital audio broadcast and satellite radio network.
Prior to joining ATMD, Liling was a mechanical design engineer in Delphi. She also has worked in the world headquarters of Delphi in United States.
Professional background
Liling graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Second Class Honors in 1999. Having done an elective in Chinese-English translation in her undergraduate studies, Liling’s skills in both English and Chinese languages provide an additional strength to her work.
Liling has obtained the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from the National University of Singapore.
