Hui Yi is a patent engineer, involved in the prosecution and drafting of patents in the field of electrical, computer and biomedical engineering.
Experience
Hui Yi joined ATMD as a Patent Engineer in June 2007. She is involved in the prosecution and drafting of patent specifications in the field of electrical, computer and biomedical engineering.
She has been involved in numerous engineering research projects involving signals and systems, sensors and integrated circuits designs. Some of her notable research projects include collaborating with Advanced Micro Devices to design an analog-to-digital conversion chip, and working with cardiologists to design an implantable pediatric cardiovascular biosensor.
Prior to joining Alban Tay Mahtani & de Silva LLP, Hui Yi was a systems analyst at a US multinational company.
Professional background
Hui Yi graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a double major in Biomedical Engineering in 2006.
Hui Yi is undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from the National University of Singapore. She is currently undergoing training to qualify as a Singapore registered patent agent.
