Ron is a patent engineer, involved in the prosecution and drafting of patents in the field of mechanical engineering.
Experience
Ron joined the firm in 2007 and his experience lies in the prosecution of patent applications to grant. He is involved in the drafting of patents in the field of mechanical engineering.
Prior to joining ATMD, Ron’s experience included 3 years of patent filing and prosecution in another firm. Ron was also involved in the design of surface systems in oil and gas drilling and production systems.
Professional background
Ron graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) with Design Specialization in 2001.
Ron has obtained a Masters of Science in Intellectual Property as well as the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from the National University of Singapore in collaboration with the IP Academy. He is currently undergoing training to qualify as a Singapore registered patent agent.
